More Goats!

So, Clover spent a month at my cousins' and came home a lot fatter. My family thought she was pregnant. (preggers as my dad told one person) but she went into heat a week or so later. It was all rather inconvientient because the weather was bad that day so we couldn't take her back over, and now we have to wait until next month which means that she'll have a June kid.

Harness goat news it that I haven't been working Clark. Before the snow fell however, I found an old sled next to the barn. It's perfect for attatching traces to and having Lewis pull. On Thanksgiving he pulled my two younger cousins around and today he hauld garbarge to the dumpster (we share with our neighbors so it's a bit of a walk.)

EXCITNG NEWS!! A couple of weeks ago, the people we bought Clover from left a message on our machine. Their daughter wants to get out of the goat business and is selling. My Christmas present this year is two more does! one of them, Ellie, is older and is Clover's mom. The other, Ebbie, is about Clover's age. Mom, Dad, and I are going to go pick them up tonight! YEAH!
